1. About the organization：

Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, situated in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, is a prestigious "Double First-Class" university sponsored by “211 project”. With a rich history dating back to 1948, ZUEL has earned a reputation as one of China's leading comprehensive universities in the fields of economics and law.

School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is one of the earliest bases for cultivating financial and investment talents in China. The school now boasts four departments, including Finance, Financial Engineering, Insurance, and Investment, offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs. The teaching team of the core finance courses holds national distinction. Our faculty has published papers in top-tier journals such as AER, JPE, JF and RES.

2. Job Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in finance or related fields from an internationally accredited university prior to the beginning of their employment in the Fall of 2025. Successful applications must demonstrate the capacity to conduct high-quality research and ability to publish in top journals of finance and economics . The position also requires a strong commitment to excellent teaching.

3.Targeting Areas/Subjects

Areas include but are not limited to:monetary policy, digital economy, digital finance,banks, international finance and sustainable finance.

4. Remuneration and Conditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical benefits, campus subsidies and generous installation fee and sufficient basic start-up fee. Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable.
