Finance Manager, Rockwell Automation, Inc., Milwaukee, WI:
Improve and standardize global processes by providing the Global Analytics and Insights department with financial information to manage performance and support decision making. Collaborate with financial teams and business partners to identify key drivers of the organization's Annual Operating Plan. Conduct quantitative analyses of financial date relating to investment programs and public/private institutions. Manage the standard reporting, analysis, and forecasting process for the department to maintain the predictability of results. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting on key metrics. Provide ad-hoc reporting as required by business partners to better understand financial performance. Leverage new technologies, standardized processes, and centralized teams to optimize reporting, analytics, and forecasting. Provide leadership, direction, and support in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing internal control policies and procedures. Advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in financial reporting. The role utilizes global consolidation financial systems EPM, SAP and Power BI to provide financial reporting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience, of which 5 years are progressive, post- baccalaureate related work experience.
Must have 8 years of experience in each of the following:
· Financial analysis;
· Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of segment performance with an emphasis on sales/mix, currency impacts, spend, and product cost impacts;
· Interpreting large amounts of data and communicating effectively to clearly present financial concepts to key stakeholders; and
· Preparing financial presentations for directors, executives, and other senior leadership.
Must have 3 years of experience using SAP and Hyperion (HFM/HP) to resolve complex financial issues.
Must have 1 year of experience in EPM to resolve complex financial issues.
Telecommuting permitted up to 50%. Candidate must reside within normal commuting distance.
