The Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) invites applications for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in finance at the level.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

Established in Beijing in November 2002, CKGSB is China’s first privately-funded and research-driven business school. The school aims to cultivate transformative business leaders with a global vision, sense of social responsibility, innovative mindset, and ability to lead with empathy and compassion. Today, CKGSB stands apart for its full-time, world-class faculty, research excellence, China insights and unparalleled alumni network. More than half of its 40 strong faculty members previously held tenure or senior professorships at top business schools, such as MIT, Wharton, and Yale. CKGSB is also the preferred choice for management education among China’s established business leaders and a new generation of disruptors. More than half of its 22,500 alumni are at the CEO or Chairman level and, collectively, they lead one fifth of China’s 100 most valuable brands.

The school is looking for the best candidates with great research potential who are willing to grow with the most exciting business school in China. Both Chinese and non-Chinese scholars are encouraged to apply; fluency in Chinese is not required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Full Professor:

Applicants for a Full Professor level appointment should have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution, an established track record of scholarly research (especially on Chinese market) and publications in top academic journals. The applicant should be able to demonstrate her/his capability to take a leading role in teaching, research and service.

Associate Professor:

Applicants for an Associate Professor level appointment should have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution, a documented excellence in research (especially on Chinese market) as evidenced by publications in top scholarly journals, and must be engaged in important ongoing research, and have demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.

Assistant Professor:

All candidates must have completed a PhD in Finance or a related discipline by August 2025. Candidates must have a demonstrated interest in pursuing first-rate research and teaching in the field of finance and have evidence of successful research activity and teaching.
