Indiana University Foundation (https://iufoundation.iu.edu/index.html) seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to serve as their next Executive Vice President, Finance and Business Operations (https://wittkieffer.com/positions/25282). This individual will be a key contributor to Indiana University's (IU) philanthropic endeavors to create a vibrant campus community.

Guided by the strategic direction of IU2030 (https://strategicplan.iu.edu/index.html), the Foundation's initiatives are centered on enhancing student scholarships, advancing groundbreaking research, and contributing to the welfare of the state and the wider community.
Reporting to the CEO/President of the Foundation, the Executive Vice President, Finance and Business Operations will be responsible for leading and managing the financial, operational, and technological aspects of Advancement to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability and efficiency. Overseeing a $4B endowment and a $400M operating budget, this role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, business operations expertise, and a deep understanding of technology to drive innovation and enhance its impact.
This is an onsite role based in Bloomington, IN.
The successful Executive Vice President, Finance and Business Operations candidate will:
• Develop, along with the senior management team, and oversee the implementation of company strategies and responsible for communicating and delivering results.
• Ensure operations are financially sustainable within the Foundation’s mission, objectives, and goals by collaborating with and facilitating communication with other divisions of the Foundation.
• Develop and communicate financial strategies and plans to support the organization's mission and goals, maximize its operating performance, and achieve its financial goals.
• Partner with leadership in the Finance & Business Operations area to find ways to streamline and optimize divisional processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the operations of Advancement Technology services, project management, and IT support to ensure they are consistent with the Foundation's objectives and goals and that collaboration with other divisions of the Foundation is maintained.
The ideal candidate will possess fifteen or more years of leadership experience at the director level or above. A Master's in Business Administration or an advanced degree in related field is preferred.
