The University of Chicago Booth School of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor position in Finance. The position will be a one-year appointment, possibly renewable for a maximum of three years overall. They must have demonstrated ability to communicate research findings clearly to audiences through oral presentations and written work.
The Research Assistant Professor is primarily an independent researcher conducting original research within finance or related fields and is expected to stand alone on their scholarly accomplishments, solo- and co-authoring reputable scientific publications. Appointees are expected to interact with Booth faculty and students and participate in academic conferences and workshops. The Research Assistant Professor will be requested to teach three sections of a finance course mutually agreed upon with the finance course scheduler.
Applications must include two reference letters, a curriculum vitae, research statement and up to three published or unpublished research papers.
