Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor of Finance and Economics

Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) invites applications for positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor), scheduled to begin in August 2024. We seek applicants with strong research and publication potential in Economics, particularly in Urban, Rural and Regional Economics, Industrial Organization, Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Finance, particularly in Macro Finance, Corporate Finance, Fixed Income Securities, and FinTech.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. or be fresh graduates in Economics, Finance, or Financial Economics, and have a strong commitment to research and teaching with evidence of publication potential.

5. Three letters of recommendation (submitted directly from the recommenders)

The deadline for submission is November 15, 2023 (23:59 Beijing Time) for positions in Economics and November 30, 2023 (23:59 Beijing Time) for positions in Finance. We will only consider candidates with complete applications received before this date for interviews.

- For positions in the department of Economics, we will conduct online and offline interviews, starting from December 1, 2023(23:59 Beijing Time). Concrete arrangements are as follows:

If the faculty candidate prefers offline interviews:

Option 1: We will conduct offline interviews at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (Wuhan) in China Economic Annual Conference (CEAC) on Dec.2 - Dec. 3 (exact time to be announced).

Option 2:We will conduct offline interviews at Fudan University (Shanghai) in China International Conference in Economics（CICE）on Dec.16-Dec.17 (exact time to be announced).

If the faculty candidate prefers online interviews:

We will conduct online interviews, starting from the end of 2023.

- For positions in the department of Finance, we will conduct online interviews, starting from January 1, 2024.
