Faculty Position in Sustainable Finance

The College of Management of Technology (CDM) at EPFL invites applications for a faculty position in Sustainable Finance. The appointment will be at the Tenure Track level (in exceptional cases, appointments at other ranks might be considered), with an expected start date of summer 2024 (or mutually agreed upon).

We are searching for applicants who are committed to excellence in research. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in finance or economics and a proven research record addressing topics linked to sustainability and aiming at publications in the top journals.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent and competitive research program in a multidisciplinary environment. They will supervise their own Ph.D. students and engage with researchers in related fields across the EPFL campus, particularly within CDM, and from neighboring Leman area institutes via the E4S initiative. They must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
