Vice President of Administration and Finance

Impacting every SU student and employee on a daily basis, the Administration and Finance Division covers areas including Architectural and Engineering Services, Capital Projects, the Budget Office, Campus Sustainability, Environmental Safety, Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Physical Plant, Procurement, and University Police. Reporting directly to https://www.salisbury.edu/administration/president/ and as member of the President’s Cabinet, the Vice President of Administration and Finance plays a major role in making the decisions that guide the University and provide the best opportunities for its students and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide vision, executive leadership and management/oversight of assigned areas while advancing SU’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The VPAF also leads the development and implementation of campus-wide strategies and plans for financial management and physical development while representing the interests of SU in the local community, in the University System of Maryland and throughout the state. The person in this position oversees a staff of approximately 400 regular (state budgeted permanent positions) and contingent (contractually hired temporary positions) employees, serving as a liaison to the Staff Senate, with an estimated annual departmental budget of $43.5 million.
