Job Description

The College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Finance for an appointment beginning July 1, 2023. Finance faculty members are expected to actively engage in high quality research. Primary teaching responsibilities include offering finance courses at the undergraduate, MBA and doctoral levels. Hiring is subject to budgetary approval.  

Required Qualifications 

A Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited institution is required by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Preference will be given to candidates with research interest in Asset Pricing and/or Financial Institutions.

Grants-in-aid 

The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate.
