Equity Quantitative Research (EQR) is comprised of quant researchers and developers who are focused on optimizing various aspects of the investment, risk management, portfolio construction, and trade execution lifecycle on behalf of Citadel’s fundamental long short equities businesses. EQR sits at the intersection of fundamental and quantitative investing. EQR’s research teams focus on portfolio construction, optimization, risk modeling, alpha research, transaction cost analytics (TCA), market impact modeling, market microstructure, and everything in between. EQR’s research teams are small and highly collaborative – each member makes meaningful contributions to the research agenda and direction, and has visible impact in Citadel’s investments. EQR’s engineering teams are responsible for delivering a robust set of platforms and applications for large scale research, trading, and risk management.

As an intern, you’ll get to challenge the impossible in research through an 11 week program that will allow you to collaborate and connect with senior team members. In addition, you’ll get the opportunity to network and socialize with peers throughout the internship.
