EQR sits at the intersection of fundamental and quantitative investing. EQR’s research teams focus on portfolio construction, optimization, risk modeling, alpha research, transaction cost analytics (TCA), market impact modeling, market microstructure, and everything in between. EQR’s research teams are small and highly collaborative – each member makes meaningful contributions to the research agenda and direction, and has visible impact in Citadel’s investments. EQR’s engineering teams are responsible for delivering a robust set of platforms and applications for large scale research, trading, and risk management.
