The Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America seeks candidates to fill a full-time position as Assistant Professor of Finance, to begin in August 2023.

The Catholic University of America is the national university of the Catholic Church with 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students in more than 180 academic programs on a residential campus in the heart of the nation's capital. The Tim and Steph Busch School of Business, founded in 2013, is committed to the application of Catholic Social Doctrine to business through thought leadership and the formation of students as virtuous Catholic business leaders. The Busch School is housed in Maloney Hall, a beautiful century-oldcollegiate gothic building that reopened in early 2019 after a $37 million renovation.

The position is a tenure track appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Candidates at other ranks, or professor of practice track, will also be considered.

Responsibilities include: academic research, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, mentoring students, and service to the department, school, and university.

Candidates should have a passion for the School’s mission, a relevant and rigorous research agenda, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in business or a related field.
