The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Finance starting in mid-August 2023, subject to budgetary approval.

Candidates must have an earned PhD degree by July 1, 2023 and demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research as evidenced by publication in top-tier journals and sound teaching credentials. 

Professional Responsibilities:  The teaching component (2 + 2) requires delivering required/elective courses in Finance at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels.  The ideal candidate will also contribute to the intellectual environment of the area.  Faculty are expected to participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the college, both internally and externally.  To support faculty research, the school provides summer funding for the first three years of service, contingent on research productivity and classroom success.

The School of Management (SOM) is accredited by AACSB and ranked among the top public undergraduate business programs.  The school offers Bachelors, Masters, and PhD programs in Finance. SOM consistently ranks among the top 50 best undergraduate business schools.
