Assistant / Associate Professor

The E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University is accepting applications for a tenure-track position (Assistant Professor / Associate Professor) teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level Finance courses.  Teaching load is equivalent to two courses per semester (i.e., four courses per academic year).  Must be actively involved in academic research and provide service to the profession, the department and the University.  Position also works closely with and mentors Finance doctoral students.

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate level Finance courses.  As part of teaching, the faculty member will hold regular office hours and/or be available to meet with students by appointment. Conduct quality academic research and publish the results in top-tier journals. Provide service to the profession, department and University.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD in Finance or related field.  ABD candidates will be considered.  Degree must be conferred by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Research in area of corporate finance; teaching experience in Financial Analytics using Python; demonstrated or have strong potential for outstanding research and commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
