The University of Kentucky seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty in finance. We will consider candidates at the assistant or associate professor level.

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: Applications are invited from candidates with outstanding quantitative and communications skills and a demonstrated capacity for high-level research. Applicants should have an expectation of publishing in the JF, JFE, and/or RFS or comparable outlets. Application review will begin in November 2021, and we will interview around the AFA meeting in Boston in January 2022. The start date for the position is August 2022.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The finance department at UK has a highly productive core of research-oriented faculty that have published extensively in top finance journals. The department has a vibrant PhD program and hosts an annual, boutique conference (For past programs see: http://www.uky.edu/financeconference). Salary and teaching load are competitive with leading public universities.

ABOUT THE LOCATION: UK is located in Lexington, which is in the heart of the beautiful Bluegrass Region. Lexington frequently ranks near the top of many ‘Best Cities' lists, including Forbes, Kiplinger, and The Atlantic.
