The Department of Finance in the Wilbur O. And Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Finance. Candidates must possess a PhD in Finance or related field (or expect to complete their PhD by August 1, 2022) from an AACSB accredited university. Successful candidates are expected to be active researchers with the potential to publish in high-quality finance journals. Seasoned candidates should have a strong record of publishing in high-quality finance journals.
We invite applicants who value collegiality and the desire to contribute to the Clemson community of finance scholars. All areas of research expertise will be considered. The candidate will teach four semester courses per year and participate in service activities. The anticipated start date is August 15, 2022.
CLEMSON UNIVERSITY is a R1 Carnegie designated, land-grant competitive admissions institution with total enrollment approaching 25,000 students. The Finance program currently has 13 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. Members of the Finance Faculty have recently published in premier finance journals, including JF, JFE, JAE, JFQA, and MS.
