We are looking for an excellent young scholar in the field of finance. Applicants with a background in corporate finance are especially encouraged to apply. This position will be located in the Finance Area of the Business School (Fakultät für Betriebswirtschaftslehre). Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to conduct cutting edge research publishable in premier academic journals. Applicants should also have a strong motivation to cooperate in joint research projects and be able to contribute to the international network of the Mannheim business faculty. They are expected to hold a PhD at the time of their appointment and demonstrate effective teaching skills. The Assistant Professor is expected to be able to teach in English at all levels (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.).
