Other Conditions:

The position is full-time, general-fund and tenure-track to begin approximately August 2022, pending position clearance and/or availability of funds. Review of applications will begin November 2021 and will continue until the position is filled.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in principles of real estate, real estate appraisal and analysis, and real estate finance and investment.
  • Conduct research leading to publications in the major journals of the real estate finance field as well as in high quality finance journals.

 

  • Participate in university, college, department and other service activities.

 

  • Advise undergraduate and graduate students.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Ph.D. in real estate and finance or closely related fields from a recognized college/university. Candidates near completion of the Ph.D. will be considered.
  1. Evidence of research capability as indicated by refereed publications, conference papers, work under review and/or work in progress.
  1. Evidence of teaching ability at college/university level, student evaluations and/or peer reviews.
  1. Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Research focus or interest in Asia-Pacific region
