Assistant Professor - Finance
The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Finance area, commencing July 1, 2022. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
Qualifications for the position include a PhD in Finance, although ABD near completion (within one year) will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching interest in Asset Pricing.
Successful candidates for the position must have:
- Exceptional research potential including the ability (a) to publish in top-tier journals and (b) to maintain a highly productive research agenda;
- Ability to effectively teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, MFin, and PhD) levels;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the relevance of their research to a business audience.
