The Department of Finance under CUHK Business School is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor.

Applications from qualified scholars in all specialty areas of finance will be considered. Individuals with expertise in Banking, Fintech, Green Finance, and Risk Management are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have a relevant doctoral degree (or one that is close to completion). They should also demonstrate a specialty in mainstream finance or in a related field mentioned above. The appointee will be required to teach postgraduate and undergraduate finance courses and will be expected to publish in top-tier finance journals.

Appointments will normally be made on a contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2022, which, subject to demonstration of the requisite level of performance may lead to a longer-term appointment or substantiation later.
