The Warrington College of Business, Department of Eugene F. Brigham, Finance, Insurance & Real Estate at the University of Florida is seeking to fill one tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position for the academic year beginning Fall 2022.

This position carries responsibilities in the areas of teaching, research, and service. The position will include a teaching load of three semester courses per academic year at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, as well as high-level research and some service. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the real estate finance/investment area, which may include household and mortgage finance.

Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of publications in top-tier finance, economics, and real estate journals or ample evidence of the ability to publish in such journals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or near completion) in finance or economics. The successful candidates must demonstrate potential for research leading to publications in top refereed journals and effective teaching at the university level.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be competitive with top business schools. The college also offers Research Grant funding during the summer commensurate with peer universities
