Assistant Professorship (Tenure-Track) in Financial Technology (100%)

The University of St.Gallen and its School of Finance are seeking candidates for an assistant professorship in the field of Financial Technology.

To be considered for this position, applicants should have a Ph.D. (or be near completion) in finance or related fields and an excellent track record in research and teaching in Financial Technology (e.g., digital banking and wealth management, digital assets, household finance, payments, decentralized finance, artificial intelligence applied to finance).

The position involves teaching in English at all levels (including executive education) and will be affiliated with the new Center for Financial Services Innovation. The candidate is expected to participate in the Center’s activities and contribute to research, teaching, and knowledge transfer into the industry and society.

The appointment is for 6 years, with an intermediate evaluation after 3 years and tenure evaluation after 6 years (promotion to associate professor after successful evaluation).
