Full Professor in Entrepreneurship and/or Innovation Management

The Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in the economics-oriented areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, and/or digitization. Appointments will be made in a newly formed Entrepreneurship faculty group at the seasoned Assistant, tenured Associate, and/or Full Professor ranks, to begin on July 1, 2022. Successful candidates are expected to produce high-quality research in entrepreneurship, innovation or digitization that results in publications in top-tier scholarly journals. A strong commitment to undergraduate and MBA education is also expected. Candidates should have a proven record of publication of economics-oriented research in top-tier scholarly journals. Successful candidates will have a strong research agenda, solid analytical and/or empirical skills, and should aspire to the highest standards of scholarship and professional activity. 

With additional faculty hiring expected in the near future, the Entrepreneurship group aims to be a top research group for the study of the economics of entrepreneurship, innovation and digitization within a top-tier business school. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Business, Economics, or a related field, and have an excellent publication record, and active research program, and evidence of high quality teaching ability. We invite applicants from all economics-oriented fields. Applicants should hold a tenure-track faculty appointment or equivalent at their current institution. New Ph.D. graduates will not be considered for these positions.
