The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking candidates for one academic non-tenure-track faculty position as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Finance to begin fall 2021 This is a one-year appointment, not to exceed two years. The salary is competitive with leading research universities. 

The preferred qualifications for this position are as follows:

  • Prior experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate students
  • Active research agenda
  • Ph.D in Finance or associated area

Principal tasks will include curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, teaching, research, and service activities. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidate’s degree certification.

The Finance faculty are collaborative and provide a highly supportive environment for all College personnel. The research accomplishments are available at www.scheller.gatech.edu/finance.  The 2019 U.S. News and World Report “Best Undergraduate Business Programs Rankings” reflected Scheller College in the top five in Quantitative Analysis.  The College has a high-tech, $1 million trading floor to prepare students for careers in investment banking and financial services.
