The Department of Finance, Banking and Real Estate at the University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for a tenure track position as an assistant professor in finance beginning August 2021.

Required Qualifications include: (1) PhD in Finance from an AACSB-accredited program (ABDs considered but need to complete by August 2021); (2) commitment to and evidence of teaching excellence in multiple areas of finance, including financial management; (3) evidence of interest in and ability to conduct high-quality research.

The department is seeking a collegial candidate who will work well within the collaborative environment of the university. This person will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Management, Investment Management and/or International Finance; engage in high-quality and impactful research; provide service to the department, college, university, and/or profession; and engage with the academic and Omaha business communities.

The College of Business Administration (CBA) at UNO, an AACSB-accredited institution, is in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, a metropolitan area with an MSA population of approximately 940,000. Omaha is home to four Fortune 500 firms and has a strong business environment with high demand for finance professionals. UNO offers about 200 programs of study to approximately 12,200 undergraduate and 2,900 graduate students.
