The W. P. Carey School of Business at ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for two faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor starting Fall 2021 across Accountancy, Finance, Information Systems, Management and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. The candidate must contribute to the mission of the W. P. Carey School of Business and the prospective department in the areas of research, teaching and service, and teaching. Candidates must conduct high quality research that is publishable in top-tier academic journals within their discipline; effectively teach courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; serve as a research mentor to doctoral students; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance department and school culture.
1) A PhD in business administration, applicable field of discipline (Accountancy, Finance, Information Systems, Management and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Supply Chain Management) or a closely related field (ABD candidates must be close to earning that doctorate by the position start date); 2) Evidence of potential for excellence in research publications at top-tier journals; 3) Professional experience within the field of discipline or other related community.
1) A strong research agenda as evidenced by papers published or forthcoming in top-tier academic journals; 2) Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential for excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels; 3) Involvement with industry partnerships and a record of externally funded research.
The initial application deadline is December 17, 2020. Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis for a reserve pool. Applications in the reserve pool may then be reviewed, every two weeks, in the order in which they were received until the positions are filled.
