The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at The University of Iowa invites applications for multiple, non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty Positions in Finance at the level of Lecturer, Associate Professor of Practice or Instruction, or Full Professor of Practice or Instruction, starting August 18, 2021.   Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement.  These positions may range from 50% time (teaching 4 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 8 classes per year) and include a 1-7 year contract with benefits. For more information about the Instructional Faculty policy, refer to the Operations Manual, III 10.11.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.  Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Education Requirement

MBA, PhD or other terminal degree in finance or a related field; or holder of appropriate finance-related licensure or certification. 

Required Qualifications  Significant experience in teaching finance courses (including corporate finance) at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.

The Henry B. Tippie College of Business is housed in the John Pappajohn Business Building, which features the Marvin A. Pomerantz Business Library, technology-equipped classrooms, and a behavioral research lab.
