School of Management and Economics (SME), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), is now accepting applications for Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Finance. Since the coming AFA will be held online, we have started to accept applications, and will review applications, conduct interviews and jobs talks online, and extend offers on a rolling basis.

ABOUT SME:

SME was established in 2014, with a mission to advance our understanding of economics and management and to develop innovative, forward-thinking, globally-minded and principled leaders who strive for the betterment of business and society.

SME currently has 85 faculty members, all recruited from overseas with PhD degrees from internationally renowned universities with strong research backgrounds. Most senior faculty of SME have experience of working as tenured professors in overseas universities, such as Princeton University, University of Southern California, Ohio State University, University of Arizona, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of New South Wales, University of Hong Kong, and Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shatin). JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

SME is seeking applicants for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at any level: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Finance are invited to apply.

Candidates for Assistant Professor should have:
(i)    a Ph.D. degree (when reporting for duty) in Finance or related areas;
(ii)    high potential in research and teaching.

Candidates for Associate and Full Professor posts are expected to have demonstrated academic leadership.

SALARIES:

We offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable to the PRC.
