POSITION
Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor (rank of Associate Professor considered for candidates with outstanding qualifications). We welcome expertise from all areas of finance.  A Ph.D. in Finance, completed by the date of appointment, is required.  The position begins Fall 2021.

VILLANOVA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
The Villanova School of Business (VSB) was ranked the #1 undergraduate business school in the nation by Bloomberg BusinessWeek.  VSB offers both undergraduate and graduate programs (including MBA, Executive MBA, MS in Finance) to over 2,500 business students.  The Finance and Real Estate department is also home to the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate.

Excellent research and data resources are provided:  CRSP/Compustat, CRSP Mutual Fund, CRSP Ziman REIT, Compustat Global, Compustat Bank Data, Thomson Datastream, Thomson 13F, Thomson Lipper TASS, SNL Financial, SNL Real Estate, NCREIF, CoStar, SDC Platinum, TAQ, ISS/RiskMetrics, Execucomp, Morningstar Direct, as well as numerous other data sources.  Professional data feeds include Bloomberg Terminals (36), Factset (unlimited), and Eikon.   

THE UNIVERSITY
Villanova University is a private Augustinian Catholic institution founded in 1842.  It has an enrollment of approximately 10,000 students within six colleges:  Villanova School of Business, College of Liberal Arts & Science, College of Engineering, M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, College of Professional Studies, and Charles Widger School of Law.  The university is located in an affluent suburban community 12 miles west of Philadelphia and offers an excellent quality of life.
