Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer and Lecturer),

The Department of Banking and Finance, Monash Business School, Melbourne Australia is seeking to
recruit top academic faculty to tenure-track positions at Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer and
Lecturer), starting July 1, 2021, or as soon thereafter as possible.
We are seeking faculty who will produce outstanding research in finance with a commitment to quality
teaching.
We are particularly interested in candidates with research and teaching expertise in derivatives and
complex financial instruments; modelling of financial decisions and portfolios; international financial
markets and institutions; as well as other core areas of finance.
Applicants should have completed or be near completion of a PhD in finance. Appointments will be
made at a level appropriate to successful applicants' qualifications and experience.
We offer attractive salary packages including relocation expenses, market loadings, research support
and generous parental leave.
Positions are subject to university approval.

The department comprises approximately 55 academic staff engaging in teaching and research in the
areas of banking, behavioural and household finance, financial institutions, corporate finance, asset
