Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance was founded in 2007 by Renmin University of China (RUC), a leading Chinese university in economics and finance located in Beijing, China. As a unique research institute that follows international standard practice, our mission is to foster a world-class faculty with a strong focus on frontier research, high-quality teaching, and active international exchanges and cooperation. Our faculty members have published in premier outlets including American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Economic Theory, and Journal of Development Economics.
We welcome candidates from any specialized fields of Economics and Finance. We especially welcome seasoned candidates with solid track records of teaching and research. Junior candidates are expected to possess the Ph.D. degree by August 2021.
We will conduct VIRTUAL interviews.
