Assistant Professor of Finance

The Department of Finance in the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance for the Fall term of 2020.   

Qualifications:

Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in Finance or be near completion.  We are looking for candidates with publications or the ability to publish in top-tier finance journals. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, be able to interact effectively with others, and enhance the intellectual environment of the department.  All candidates should be capable of teaching at the undergraduate, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. levels. The teaching load is commensurate with research expectations.

About the College and Department:

The Department of Finance is a group of active, enthusiastic, research oriented scholars (https://www.lebow.drexel.edu/faculty-and-research/disciplines/finance/faculty) engaged primarily in publishing empirical research. The department conducts an active research seminar series with presentations by leading scholars from throughout the United States. Research is supported by access to research databases and research assistant support.
