Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors of Finance

Singapore Management University (SMU) invites applications for Finance faculty positions at all levels. The positions are effective from July 1, 2020.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Ph.D. in hand or very close to completion. Candidates are expected to demonstrate potential for high quality research.

ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR: Ph.D. and established record of high quality research with evidence of sustained scholarship and publications in top journals.

ABOUT LEE KONG CHIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND FINANCE GROUP AT SMU: Founded in January 2000, the School has grown rapidly and earned the triple crown of AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditations. In the most recent business school ranking by UT-Dallas based on top academic journal publications, SMU ranks 33^rd worldwide. Faculty members in the Finance group have Ph.D.s from Harvard, INSEAD, Iowa, Ohio State, LBS, Princeton, Rochester, Stanford, Tilburg, Washington (St Louis), UC-Berkeley, and UT-Austin, among others. From 2009 to 2019, they published 39 articles in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies, which ranks the SMU Finance group 40^th worldwide, 2^nd in Asia, and 1^st in Singapore. SMU subscribes to all major financial databases and provides generous research funds to support conference travel and other research activities. The group hosts an annual summer research camp; an active research seminar series; and research visits by distinguished scholars. The Finance group also has a Ph.D. program with high quality students and good recent placements.
