Penn State Scranton invites applications for a faculty position, Assistant Professor of Business, (Tenure-Track, 36 weeks) to begin August 2020, or as negotiated. Teach three courses (9 credits) each semester of lower- and upper-division undergraduate courses in accounting, finance, or financial services using traditional and online delivery methods. Teaching assignments may require teaching day, evening, and/or Saturday classes as needed. Courses may include principles of corporate finance, investment portfolio concepts, financial services specialty courses (e.g., banking, real estate investments, insurance principles), personal finance, and introductory accounting. Publish in refereed journals and present at the appropriate professional conferences. Participate in course, curriculum, and program development. Advise students and provide career guidance. Participate in campus, University, and community service activities. Engage in activities to stay current in the discipline. Ph.D. in finance, accounting, or related discipline. ABDs completing doctorate by summer 2020 will be considered.
