The Department of Finance, NUS Business School, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in finance at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor). All finance-related disciplines will be considered. Selection for associate and full professor ranks will be based on an established publication record and proven teaching excellence. Selection for the Assistant Professor rank will focus on the potential for publications in top journals and for effective teaching at the undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. levels.

Quality research is strongly emphasized. In the recent years, our finance faculty have published several articles in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Political Economy, American Economic Review, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics. The school provides extensive databases including WRDS, 13F, Chinese Stock Market & Accounting Research, Compustat, CRSP, Eventus, ExecuComp, Factset, IBES, OptionMetrics, etc. In addition, research funds for additional database purchases and international conference travels are readily available.  A reduced teaching load comparable to leading research intensive universities is provided to new hires to encourage research.
