The Department of Finance at the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at University of Delaware invites applications for a Continuing Track faculty position beginning August 2019.  This is a non-tenure track appointment primarily emphasizing teaching responsibilities. The initial appointment is a 2-year contract renewable contract.  Rank is open and will depend upon experience and qualifications.  Salary is competitive upon experience and qualifications.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in finance or a related field, or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future and have demonstrated excellence in teaching.  Successful candidates should be interested in establishing a long-term teaching career at the University of Delaware and maintaining research productivity commensurate with a three-course per semester teaching load.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Finance currently has 19 full-time faculty members. The Department offers BS and MS degrees in Finance, and supports the College’s MBA programs and PhD programs in Economics and Financial Services Analytics. All degree programs are fully accredited by the AACSB.
