Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance
Tenure-Track position in Finance starting August 2019.
Candidate’s academic research specialty areas should include at least one of the main interest areas of corporate finance or investments/security markets. Teaching interests can include but are not limited to corporate finance, investments, banking and financial institutions, real estate, and risk management and insurance. Candidate must have a strong commitment to quality research and publication and to excellence in teaching.
Candidate should have a Ph.D. in Finance or related discipline from a recognized institution of higher education by the start date and successful teaching at the undergraduate or MBA level. Evidence of scholarship beyond the dissertation will be viewed favorably by the search committee. Candidate at the Associate level should have an established record of publication in the top journals, a continuing program of research with potential for top-tier publication, and a willingness to teach in the MBA and/or Ph.D. programs.
