Professor of Finance and Business Economics - tenure track (rank open), Marshall School of Business
Applications are invited for full-time tenure track faculty positions (rank open) in the Department of Finance and Business Economics at the USC Gordon S. Marshall School of Business. Appointments will begin Fall semester of 2019.
Applicants are sought in all areas of Finance and Economics.
Preferred qualifications for full-time positions include a doctoral degree or foreign equivalent in an appropriate area of study. Candidates nearing completion of their degree may also be considered. Preference may be given to individuals with relevant experience in teaching at the college/university level and/or evidence of research competence.
Application instructions: Only on-line applications via USC's faculty application portal will be accepted. Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and at least one research paper. A minimum of three names and email addresses for recommendation letters are also required. Additional materials are optional.
There are upload fields for “Cover Letter”, “CV”, Curriculum” and “Other”. Each field permits ONE attachment only. PDF files preferred - maximum 5MB each. “Cover Letter” “and “CV” are self-explanatory. Upload your Job Market Paper to “Curriculum”. “Other” may be used to upload optional documents (additional research papers, teaching or research statements, teaching evaluations, etc.), however all optional materials must be combined into a single PDF file before uploading.
At the end of the on-line application process, fields will be provided for the names and email addresses of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 references. Email addresses do not need to be unique - if an Admin will be uploading your letters, use individual faculty names but the Admin's email address for each reference.
If you want to be notified when a letter is uploaded, please check the notification box (“I would like to be notified as my references submit their letters.”) at the bottom of page 3 before you submit your application!
You will not be able to change your application on-line after submitting it. If you need to update, replace, or add to your application, email additional information or documents to firstname.lastname@example.org, with a subject line of "Application Update for Firstname Lastname".
