Assistant Professor of Finance Position
The University of Kentucky seeks to hire multiple tenure-track faculty in finance. We will consider candidates at the assistant professor level.
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: Applications are invited from candidates with outstanding quantitative and communications skills and a demonstrated capacity for high-level research. Applicants should have an expectation of publishing in the JF, JFE, and/or RFS or comparable outlets. Application review will begin in November 2018, and we will interview at the AFA meeting in Atlanta in January 2019. The start date for the position is August 2019.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The finance department at UK has a highly productive core of research-oriented faculty that have published extensively in top finance journals. Salary and teaching load are competitive with leading public universities.
