Brief Introduction of CQU

Chongqing is located in Southwest China having a more than 3000-year history. It was the provisional capital of China during World War II and now is one of the Five National Central Cities of China. It is the economic center of upper reaches of Yangtze River and also a very important hub city in the “Belt & Road” initiative of China.

Founded in 1929, Chongqing University (CQU) is a top-notch comprehensive Chinese research university directly under the administration of the State Ministry of Education and it is also one of the “Project 985” and “Project 211” universities as well as the national "Double-first-class" Project universities enjoying the full support of the central and local government in its development. The campuses of CQU are in the heart of the city of Chongqing, prosperous district of Shapingba.

Brief Introduction of SEBA 

The School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) of Chongqing University, founded in 1937, is one of the best business schools in West China. The vision of SEBA is “To be a first-class in China and world-renowned business school” and the mission of SEBA is “To build a global vision with local relevance, to develop new management knowledge and cultivate outstanding talents”.

Currently, SEBA has one national key academic discipline and two first-tier disciplines - Business Administration and Applied Economics. With this sound academic discipline foundation, SEBA plays an important role in nurturing high-caliber talents in management and producing intellectual contributions with impact in China. SEBA has been accredited by AACSB in 2017 and AMBA in 2013.
