Faculty Appointment - Finance
The Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia invites applications for an open rank tenure/tenure track faculty appointment in finance to begin August 2019.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: This position is open to researchers in all specialties. A doctorate in an applicable discipline is required by the start date of the appointment. In rare cases appointment in an acting faculty role may be considered for a stellar candidate who is ABD.
Applicants must have an active academic research program that indicates the ability to generate work of the highest quality and the potential to publish at premier outlets. Applicants must also be capable of teaching in a "student-centered" environment and developing curriculum materials for both internal and external use. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the administration of the school, provide service to academic communities in our profession, and to engage with practicing managers.
