Aalto University School of Business invites applications for:
Assistant Professor in Finance (tenure track)
beginning 1.8.2019. The position is open to candidates in all areas of Finance.
The position is located in the Department of Finance. The Finance Group is strongly dedicated to research, as shown by a stream of research published in top Finance and Economics journals. Teaching assignments encompass undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs, and courses are taught in English. The Department runs an excellent seminar series and is equipped with all major Finance databases. Many faculty members also have access to unique registry-based data sets from Finland. The ideal candidate will have the potential to publish in top journals and to develop into an excellent teacher in our programs. Applicants should have completed their PhD in Finance or a related field, or be close to completion.
Aalto University follows the salary system of Finnish universities, but applicants may also provide salary requests. The position includes occupational healthcare.
