Holmes Professorship in Management (Finance)
Bucknell University invites applications for the Holmes Professorship in Management (Finance) within the College of Management, starting August 2018. The position is an endowed chair to be filled at the associate or full rank by an outstanding candidate with an established record of research, a commitment to continued scholarship, and a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate must be committed to supporting diversity in the classroom. Candidates must be willing to teach introductory and upper-level finance courses. Moreover, he or she must value Bucknell's liberal arts tradition and be willing to collaborate with other faculty to develop a finance elective for students interested in the arts. A Ph.D., D.B.A, or equivalent degree in Finance is required. Experience with student-managed investment funds is preferred. Bucknell's AACSB accredited College of Management values both traditional scholarship and creative scholarship that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries.
