The Finance Program at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business, The College of William and Mary, anticipates one or more tenure-track positions in finance, at the entry or advanced assistant level beginning on August 10, 2018.  Candidates must have a doctoral degree by the time of appointment and a demonstrated ability to publish high quality research.  Commitment to excellence in both teaching and research is essential. We are looking for applicants with research interests in the areas of corporate finance, investments, behavioral finance, household finance, or international finance. 

William and Mary is a premier liberal arts university, chartered in 1693, and has long been considered one of the “Public Ivies.” The graduate business school has been recognized as a “Top-50” school by Business Week, the Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal. The undergraduate program is currently ranked #12 overall by Bloomberg BusinessWeek.  The Mason School faculty has also been highly ranked by both Bloomberg Business Week and the Princeton Review.  The Finance Area includes 15 full-time faculty, and is the home of the newly established Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance.  The College is situated in historic Williamsburg, Virginia and is within an hour drive of Richmond, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.
